Absolutely amazing service!
Being from Tassie, we made several phone calls to Brokers, Colin Plant was a stand out, others were fickle, or chasing the big bucks.  
Upon purchase of our Catamaran we were met by Colin, who was friendly as expected, answering every query and providing assistance to assure a smooth transaction. Colin’s after sales service has been sensational, he has assisted us with transportation of our supplies from Tassie to Qld, and when in Qld he  hooked us up with reputable business providers.  
We would recommend Colin to anyone who requires a Broker with excellent listening / communication skills and exceptional integrity.

Colin Plant puts his all into it, no matter the price of the vessel.
Sonsie, a Canadian-flagged Southern Cross 39, was stranded in Brisbane thanks to a certain coronavirus, and then thanks to domestic upheaval, ended up having to be sold.
I knew she was in good hands as soon as I met Colin. He is extremely knowledgeable, cheerful, and positive. He has the rare ability to be both easy-going and full-on commited, as demonstrated when he was suddenly fired by the other co-owner, only to be six months later offered the job of selling Sonsie again!
Because she'd sat neglected for so long there were numerous niggly things that needed resolving. Add in the different requirements for a boat to be sellable in Australia, and there was plenty to do and explain.
Colin got right on it, communicated everything in a timely, informative fashion, tackled each problem, resolved every issue, either by lining up the necessary trade or help, or by trouble-shooting and fixing things himself.
I am very grateful for everything he did, for getting a great deal for us, and for finding an enthusiastic buyer in double-quick time.
He was professional, upbeat, and helpful to the max. He also taught me some great Aussie slang :)

I bought a medium size sailing yacht through Colin. I found Colin to be open and constructive through the sale negotiation which at times was tricky. Colin has been helpful throughout. Particularly when it was learnt the hull fitting for the propeller shaft required serious repair work, starting with removal of the shaft itself. Whilst I have been around boats for most of my life, we live about 6 hours travel time away from Mooloolaba. That amount of travel time doesn’t make it easy to sort out the typical issues of buying a boat needing work and getting it voyage ready to bring home when you are juggling family, work and life’s usual commitments. So I can definitely say it’s not a case of what you know but who Colin knows. He has provided me with a mine of useful local information and people to contact which would have taken me hours to establish. As my wife said, “You were very lucky buying a boat through Colin”. I’ll add two things: 1. I have a huge amount of respect for Colin and found him to be a likeable and naturally helpful person. Colin is not one of my mates but a person I’d be happy to have as a mate. If/when I meet him in the future I’ll be pleased to see and chat with him. 2. I have never been asked by Colin to write a Google Review and I have never felt motivated to write one for any business or person before. However, I wanted to put aside time to write this as a gesture of thanks.
