Launched in 1990 and lovingly maintained, constructed in GRP, Artful Dodger's accommodation consists of 2 generous double cabins, with aft quarter-berth for additional sleeping accommodation (or extra storage). The large, fully enclosed cockpit features 2 enormous under-seat lazerettes, 2 transom lockers and 2 top-loading gas lockers.
Designed by renowned designer Joe Adams and built in Victoria by Trewartha Boatbuilders, the Artful Dodger is a round-bilge, sloop-rigged, shoal-draft yacht with an aft-cockpit, skeg-hung rudder (for safety), and a long fin keel with a cutaway forefoot (for better manoeuvrability and access to most anchorages and channels).
Powered by a 70HP Toyota 2.2 L diesel so parts are never a problem, wherever you are. The engine drives a stainless-steel 3-blade Autostream feathering prop.
Cruising sails as new, fully battened Main (with new lazyjack bag), Headsail (on a Profurl Furler), Staysail, Storm Jib, MPS (in Sock) are by Evolution Sails
Electrical systems have all been updated.
