Please read the full advert and last paragraph. Sauterelle is an 8 meter yacht, from cockpit step into main cabin with quarter berth and galley to port and quarter berth/dinette to starboard. Then step through the main bulkhead and there is V-birth in the bow and 12V-electric toilet/macerator under the V - berth.
Hull External inspection was conducted on the 29th of March and the hull was inspected and in good condition for a 39 year old vessel along with anti foul. No signs of osmosis keel join and hull were in perfect condition at time of inspection.
Engine/motor: The old motor was removed as the sail drive was ceased and the hull fibreglassed all work done professionally out of the water over a period of 7 months the yacht is now powered by an outboard motor. A 2021 Mercury 9.9hp 4stroke which pushes at about the same power 6knots at full speed with sails.
Deck/cabin The deck is constructed of fibreglass and is in good condition. The aluminium toe rail is in good condition. Guide rails are in good condition. There is one hatch on the bow deck. There is a white Bimini with an aluminium frame that covers the aft end of the cockpit. The stanchions pulpit and push pit are well secured to the deck. There are three appropriate size metal cleats for mooring Sauterelle.
The anchoring arrangements are appropriate for the vessel. The cockpit empties through two good sized drains in the floor. The tiller is aft end of the cockpit with the single lever engine control within easy reach this is a favourite way to steer a yacht.
Mast and rigging, Sauterelle is a sloop rigged with an aluminium mast that has a single spreader and aluminium boom. The mast is deck stepped into metal mast step bracket. There is a furlur on the forestay and there is a set up for an inner forestay if needed. The rigging was all replaced only last month by Colin Quinn rigging. As was the mast sanded and painted and new light and vhf aerial electrics installed.
Interior The interior is finished in a white paint and varnished trim and panels and new navy blue marine quality cushions throughout. That look great. A lot of work has gone into Sauterelle from electrical néw switch boards that is powered by solar and two 12v batteries running a fridge, fans, lights, radio, vhf, 12v USB port, bilge, fresh water 90litre on board capacity, plus manual salt water tap to the sink also.
New switch board with 12 outputs including néw simrad depth sounder and mapping with sim plotting and charts of Australia and Mew Zealand. New vhf radio Epirb Flares V sheet Safety equipment Life jackets x 6 Sauterelle is well worth the look and can be packaged to include the registered marine council mooring it is currently on if required by the new to be soon owners.
