Purchased in 2018, Toc is a 40ft Simpson sailing catamaran in turn-key condition, fully refitted in 2019 for bluewater cruising. This catamaran has been a much loved liveaboard home for our young family of four since May 2019 and is fully equipped with comfort and safety in mind for long-term crusing.
In the last two years we have sailed Toc extensively covering over 7000nm from Newcastle to Cairns, PNG and Eastern Indonesia, back to Darwin and all the way around Cape York and down the Queensland coast to Airlie Beach, where the boat is currently located. The boat performs well under sail with excellent bridgedeck clearance, reaching 8-9kt in 13kt of true wind, while doing 6kt cruising speed under both engines or 5kt with only one engine.
Toc is a 3 cabin catamaran (2 queens + single) with 2 single cubbies and 1 x queen fold down in the salon for visitors or crew. There is an electric macerating toilet installed in the bathroom with a separate inside shower room as well as a transom shower. There is lots of storage throughout, including under floor, under salon lounge and bedroom seats as well as in storage cupboards in rear and front. There is plenty of room in the cockpit to hang your hammocks or do yoga on the deck, while inside, there is 6ft headroom in all walkways.
